Abstract
Profile of Caroline Glassman, the first and only woman to serve on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court. Glassman, appointed to the court in 1983 by former governor Joseph Brennan, has informed Gov. King that she does not want to be reappointed to a third seven-year term. Her replacement will be King's first Supreme Court appointment.
