Abstract
Profile of poet Wesley McNair, 56, of Mercer. McNair heads the creative writing program at the University of Maine at Farmington, and has published four books of poems and an anthology of Maine writing. McNair next month will travel to his native state of New Hampshire to receive the Sarah Josepha Hale Medal, which was first awarded, to Robert Frost, in 1956.
