Abstract
Details on last week's public hearing before the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, which is choosing among eight different management plans for striped bass. Maine adopted a slot limit on stripers for the 1997 season, and fishermen had mixed feelings about both the slot limit and the shorter season that came with it.
