Abstract

Brunswick police didn't bother to attend yesterdays's pro-pot rally held on the town's mall. Ken Elliott, one participant, lit up a joint hoping to get arrested for smoking marijuana that he says relieves the pain of an injured back, but was ignored. The rally was co-sponsored by Maine Vocals, a group fighting to legalize marijuana and BACH, which advocates its use in textiles.
