Abstract
Details on land purchases in Maine's unorganized territories in 1996 and through the summer of 1997. Mead Corp. purchased 550,000 acres of northern forest from Boise Cascade, the largest single transaction during the period. Forestree 96 Limited Partnership paid $9.8 million to Forest Vision Corp. for more than 52,000 acres.
