Acadia National Park is visited by some 2.7 million people annually, and more and more visitors are commenting on how crowded the park has become in recent years. Options such as limiting auto access and discouraging bicyclers have been discussed, but it is becoming increasingly clear that there is no real cooperative plan developing to solve the problem of overcrowding at the park.
