Abstract
The National Highway Safety Administration has launched a campaign to change the terminology of motor vehicle "accidents," most of which are preventable and predictable, to the more accurate term, "collisions." The national Fatal Accident Reporting System has been renamed the Fatal Analysis Reporting System. State Police spokesman Steve McCausland says he is starting to call a crash a crash.
