Abstract
Editorial criticising Gov. Angus King for doing little to actively support a $20 million bond issue that will appear on the November ballot to support research and development, mostly at the University of Maine System's Orono and Portland campuses. Since economic growth is based on information and knowledge, passage of the bond issue would do much to create future jobs in Maine.
