Abstract
Profile of Bob Jacobs, who lives with his wife Deborah in Gardiner, and who, five years ago, started Maine Men of Integrity, a group based on the tenets of the national Promise Keepers movement. The group now has eight regional chapters, a newsletter mailing list of 400, and several thousand supporters. The Jacobses are both members of the interdenominational Elim Christian Fellowship in Augusta. Maine Men holds an annual conference in the fall, with the next one scheduled for November 21 at the Augusta Civic Center.
