Abstract

"News & Issues" piece noting that according to the Department of Environmental Protection the air atop Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park does not meet federal clean air standards. Non-compliance is based on a three-year average ozone reading. Non-compliance could could trigger federal Clean Air Act provisions for Hancock County. The Cadillac air-monitoring station was established in 1995 to help measure the effects of emission control projects in the Boston area.
