The Agassiz Village Children's Camp in West Poland has operated a Hershell Spillman Co. carousel since 1936, but the financial burden of maintaining the 1914-vintage merry-go-round has become onerous. The camp was forced to auction off the carousel piece by piece this summer. Details.
