Abstract
"News & Issues" piece on Central Maine Power's (CMP) response to a petition by energy consumers who want New York State Electric & Gas (NYSE&G) officials to appear before the Public Utilities Commission (PUC). CMP argues that Energy East, a New York public utility holding company and NYSE&G spin-off, is not subject to the jurisdiction of the PUC, which has not yet ruled on the petition.
