Abstract
"Books & the Arts" piece on learning how to acquire a taste for classical music. The Portland Concert Association's (PCA) Great Performances is co-sponsoring a course with the University of Southern Maine in how to teach classical music listening skills. Jane Banquer, PCA's director of education, believes it's the first such collaboration in Maine between a classical music presenting organization and an educational institution.
