Abstract
"Maine Interview" piece with poet Barbara Maria of Belfast, who has found a way for the city's young people to be heard by their peers as well as the adults in the community. Maria has begun a poetry workshop called Rising Sound, which is open to all Belfast teens. The group meets once a week and is becoming a major attraction among Belfast's many cultural offerings.
