Abstract
"Maine Interview" piece with Duke Albanese, Maine's Commissioner of Education, who was appointed in the fall of 1996. Since then, the Learning Results curriculum initiative has become law, and the funding formula was overhauled again to make it fairer and simpler. Albanese also plans to get the state and local school districts working more closely together.
