Abstract
"Maine Perspectives" piece on the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, which the U.S. Senate again failed to ratify last week, though it has been a goal of every president since Dwight D. Eisenhower who first proposed it. With a critique on the responsiveness of Maine's major newspapers, and comments on Maine's two Republican senators, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, who both voted against the treaty.
