Abstract
"Feature Story" piece on "Belfast, Maine," a four-hour long documentary film made by filmmaker Frederick Wiseman, who has summered in Northport for more than 20 years. The film recently premiered in Belfast at the Colonial Theater. Its broadcast premiere on PBS television will be on Feb. 4. And it will be included in a complete Wiseman retrospective at the Lincoln Center Film Society, opening Jan. 28. With a brief history of Belfast and a biographical sketch of Wiseman.
