Abstract

An official with the Maine Bureau of Parks and Recreation says that enforcement of rules limiting the size of groups on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway will be consistent, and that repeat offenders can expect to receive citations. In the past, groups exceeding the 12-person maximum have split up at the beginning of the waterway and then reassembled at campsites.
