Abstract
"Feature Story" piece on the Search and Rescue (SAR) & Conservation K-9 2000 Symposium, which last month drew 80 SAR teams to Bar Harbor. Participants came from as far away as Alaska, Texas, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This year's conference was co-sponsored by MeSARD and the Maine Warden Service. Handlers and their dogs attended a series of workshops and lectures during the four-day event.
