Abstract

Former Maine Attorney General James Tierney has become one of the country's busiest special prosecutors, television legal commentators and Justice Department consultants. Tierney, who served ten years as Maine attorney general before stepping down in 1990, recently completed a special grand jury investigation in Pennsylvania, and covers trials for the cable channel Court TV.
