Abstract
"News & Issues" piece on concerns that non-native organisms like the Asian shore crab and the Chinese mole crab could have attached themselves to the hull of a new, $27 million giant drydock recently purchased by Bath Iron Works (BIW) and towed to Bath from Shanghai. Ron Huber of the Coastal Waters Project said he is pleased that BIW has hired a contractor to inspect the drydock's underwater hull this week.
