Abstract
"Books & the Arts" piece on the 64th, 65th and 66th annual National Folk Festivals, which will be held in Bangor beginning in the summer of 2002. The festivals are sponsored and organized by the National Council for the Traditional Arts, which spends three years in "residence" in selected towns across the nation. Currently, the council is located in East Lansing, Michigan.
