Abstract
"News" piece on a conservation easement deal in Carrabassett Valley being negotiated by Plum Creek Timber Co and the state of Maine. The deal, involving hundreds of thousands of acres, could augment the outdoor recreation potential of the area with such projects as linking trails throughout Franklin and Somerset counties.
