Abstract
Dr. James Benjamin Jr. was suspended by officials at the Aroostook Medical Center for allegedly abandoning his patients between November 6 and November 10. Dr. Benjamin, an African American, has filed a $50 million lawsuit against the center for revocation of his license, libel and defamation. Later, a federal suit claiming discrimination was filed.
