Abstract
"News" piece on the fight between Texas businessman Dick Brown, who recently purchased 20,000 acres of East Middlesex Grant Canal, and Barbara and Ray DuCharme of Brooklyn, Conn., who hold a Moosehead Lake camp lease. Brown has refused to renew the DuCharme's lease and has filed a complaint against them for forcible entry and detainer. The DuCharmes appeared in court on Oct. 4 to avoid a forfeit, and the judge intends to issue a decision later this fall.
