Abstract
"Q & A" piece with Dr. Pauleena MacDougall, a linguist whose research has centered on Algonquin tribes like the Penobscots and Passamaquoddies. MacDougall is associate director of the Maine Folklife Center at the University of Maine. She is now working on the material culture committee with the National Folk Festival that will be held in Bangor for three years beginning next summer.
