Abstract
"News" piece on the next chancellor of the University of Maine System, who will be an out-of-stater, according to informed observers. The names of the three finalists have not yet been disclosed, but two likely contenders, including University of Southern Maine President Richard Pattenaude and University of Maine at Augusta President Charles Lyons have both withdrawn their names from consideration. The trustees hope to name a successor to Terrence MacTaggart by early February.
