Abstract

"Arts" piece on the 2001 American Institute of Architects Maine Biennial Design Awards. The winners are Whitten Architects of Portland for a camp complex in Bridgton; Whitten Architects for the renovation of its Portland office; Elliott & Elliott Architecture of Blue Hill for a private studio in Brooklin; and Orcutt Associates of Yarmouth for the Center for Shaker Studies in Hancock, Mass. The Maine Design Awards submissions are on view at the Bates College Museum of Art in Lewiston through March 24.
