Abstract
"News" piece on the National Folk Festival, which is being hosted by the city of Bangor and will be held Aug. 23-25. In neighboring Brewer, officials are mounting a parallel event on their side of the Penobscot River, including an antique show or crafts fair. The festival could also include events on the Brewer side of the river if an efficient transportation system across the water can be worked out in time, according to the Bangor Convention and Visitors Bureau.
