Abstract
Profile of S. Donald Sussman of Connecticut, who has a summer home on Deer Isle. Sussman is a principal in Caremi Partners, which contributed funds to the Forest Ecology Network to help defeat the Compact for Maine's Forests. Sussman is also a director of Paloma Partners, and is a major investor in Repap Enterprises Inc. of Montreal, which operates two mills in New Brunswick. With an analysis of a letter from Sussman to Gov. King that ran as a political advertisement before the November 4 election.
