Abstract

Attorney Pamela Ames, who is challenging Somerset County District Attorney David Crook in the June Democratic primary, said last week that Crook has routinely sold weapons confiscated in drug busts back to drug offenders. Crook acknowledged that his office has negotiated settlements with ten offenders over the course of six years, which allowed the offenders to buy back guns.
