Abstract

Feature article on Maine's fledgling sea urchin industry which is now worth $14.8 million annually, representing a catch of 25.5 million pounds. Many belileve that this valuable natural resource, third in financial value behind lobster and cod, is being neglected by the state entities which should be regulating and promoting its harvest.
