Abstract

Portland police chief Michael Chitwood criticized the recent appointment of convicted marijuana smuggler Harvey Prager as a Maine Supreme Judicial Court law clerk, and called on Supreme Court justice Howard H. Dana Jr., for whom Prager will clerk, to reconsider the decision to appoint Prager to the $27,000-a-year position.
