Abstract

Artist Nancy Strout was to have exhibited her artwork at a two-artist show at Jameson Gallery & Frame in Portland beginning September 22, but two weeks before the opening gallery owners Martha Gilmartin and Michael Rancourt informed her that her work would not be part of the show. Nancy Lawrence, owner of Portmanteau in the Old Port, and several other merchants arranged for Strout's show to open at 10 Exchange Street on schedule. Details.
