Abstract

The Portland Public Library will host Draw-a-Thon III, a day of print production and arts activism to Bring Our War $$ Home on Jan. 15. The event is held in conjunction with Robert Shetterly's exhibit, Portraits from Americans Who Tell the Truth, which opened in the library's Lewis Gallery this month. Images created at earlier Draw-a-Thons will be produced in large formats to be used at festivals, fairs, parades and other venues later this year. The purpose of the event is to allow the public to make the connection between war spending and domestic budget cuts.
