To Hon

The Mayor of Portland

Dr Sir

At a meeting of the Executive Committee held last evening it was voted, that the Mayor be requested to furnish two Policemen to be exclusively at the service of this Committee to act under their directions in the investigation of frauds attempted or committed on the relief fund.
