To the Mayor of Portland

Dr Sir,

Enclosed find a certificate of deposit for $100. for the sufferers by fire in your city. It is the proceeds of a little fair, gotten up and managed by my self and five other little girls, from 8 to 13 yr of age. Hoping this may do some good, we remain
