Nigerian Community of Maine Celebrates Independence Day in Style
A description of the Nigerian Independence Day Celebration, held on October 1 and organized by the Nigerians in Maine Community in cooperation with Oga Suya, a Portland-based Nigerian catering company. The celebration honors Nigeria's independence from the United Kingdom and was the first such celebration held in the state of Maine.
