Abstract
Jen Boggs, board member of the Portland-based nonprofit I'm Your Neighbor Books, briefly discusses the impact of growing up Asian in America when there was scant representation of Asians in the books available to children. She goes on to mention I'm Your Neighbor Books and its mission to welcome immigrants and educate Americans about the immigrant experience.
