Abstract

"Byte ME" piece on Time Warner Cable and the advanced network of fiber optic and coaxial cable the company is laying in the Portland area. The project will allow area people accessing the Internet to take advantage of cable modems. Pilot projects using cable modems are underway at the Portland Public Library and at Portland and Cheverus high schools.
