Abstract

"City" piece on the recent controversy over a proposal to increase ticket prices on the Casco Bay Lines. Jim Phipps of Chebeauge Island, a member of the Casco Bay Island Transit District's board of directors, said opponents of the proposed fare hike really want to fire the current management of the ferry. Some board members are leading a citizens movement against increasing prices. The fastest growing part of CBL's budget is employee wages. Details.
