Abstract

"Talk" piece with Michelle Berrick, 36, of Portland, a mother of two boys who suffers from dyslexia. Berrick follows her sons to Jack Elementary School, where she is attending GED classes and serves as a parent volunteer. Berrick received her high school diploma 18 years ago, but is illiterate.
