Abstract

A "Congress Street Minutes" article that focuses on Park Fest '98 organized by West End business owners Steve Gervais and Sarah Cox. Organizers blocked off Spring Street between Park and High Streets on July 19th. and staged a number of events, including a poetry reading by Steve Luttrell, an appearance by Miss Maine 1998, Stephanie Stanley, an African dance performance by Alfinoda, and a reunion concert by Darien Brahms, Matt Staples, and Paul Chamberlain.
