Abstract

"Stop the Presses" piece on the rush to break news online, which has resulted in inaccuracies, including a report that Leo Martin was killed in a car accident, in which he actually suffered minor injuries but was responsible for the deaths of two women. The report ran on The Portland Newspapers' midday Web site on July 23.
