Abstract

"Talk" piece with Sheila Teicher, 29, who is preparing to run her first marathon in Anchorage, Alaska, in June. Teicher, a bartender at the Dry Dock in Portland, is taking part in the race to raise money for the Leukemia Society and in honor of her mother, who died of the disease 15 years ago.
