Abstract

"Edge" piece on the Maine Fabric & Fiber Arts Festival, which will be held in Portland May 14 through May 16. Headquartered at the Holiday Inn By the Bay, the festival includes a marketplace with 90 vendors' booths, 36 workshops, seminars and a fashion show. Local museums, galleries and other businesses will present more than 30 additional exhibits. Maps and festival information are available at the Portland Public Library and at the festival's Web site at www.fabricandfiber.com .
