Abstract

"So Noted" piece praising the Portland City Council's public safety committee for adopting a more positive attitude toward young people by recommending that the curfews in the Old Port's Post Office Park and in Tommy's Park be extended from 10 P.M. to 11 P.M. This proposal is seen as a first sign by the author that city officials might be able to show some respect for Portland's teenagers.
