Abstract

"City" piece on Jim Polson, news director of Maine Public Radio, who has resigned. Officials at Maine Public Broadcasting Corporation (MPBC) refused to comment except to say his resignation was "voluntary." But Polson, 47, said he had failed to get the unified support of staff and had lost the support of management. MPBC runs both Maine Public Broadcasting System television and Maine Public Radio. With a brief history of Polson's journalism career.
