Abstract

Allen Dammann writes about the art of "cockblocking," the art of disrupting a man's advances, whether directed at a female or a male. Tim Mitchell of Portland, a former Navy man talks about his experiences cockblocking, as does Robert Shaffer and Julie Marquis. Shaffer is a DJ at the Portland's Underground, a gay nightclub. Marquis works as a waitress and has had ample opportunity to watch the mingling habits of men and women.
