Abstract

"City" piece on a civil lawsuit filed on June 21 in Cumberland County Superior Court against the Regional Transportation Program and one of its volunteer drivers, Robert Vadnais of Saco, who is alleged to have repeatedly sexually abused Karen Doyle, 39, of Portland, who is mentally retarded. A police report was filed on June 8, 2000, but for reasons unclear to Doyle's attorney, no criminal action was taken. But Lt. Joe Loughlin of the Portland Police Departments aid when the Doyles made the complaint there was no mention of physical contact. With details about the alleged incidents.
